Today I came across a video called “Gratitude: Louie Schwartzberg at TEDxSF” with stunning time-lapse photography and a talk/presentation by Louie Schwartzberg. The video also includes very powerful words by native Austrian Benedictine Monk Brother David Steindl-Rast on Gratitude. If you don´t want to see the whole video, tune in at 4:50 – it’s a heart opener! If your day isn´t/has been so good, just listen to those words by the monk and notice the difference in your mood.
I had something like that (the video) in mind for doing myself a couple of days ago, but didn´t know how to accomplish it – now that is some inspiration – very different from any other “slide show” I have seen so far. Combining awesome photography with spirituality – way to go! First seen the video today at the site of one of my inspirations in photography, Dewitt Jones, former National Geographic Photographer: http://www.celebratewhatsright.com/inspire/ted-videos, and here is the link on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXDMoiEkyuQ , a fantastic piece of work! Enjoy!
“Do you think this is just another day in your life? It´s not just another day – it´s the one day that is given to you today! It´s given to you, it´s a gift – it´s the only gift that you have right now. And the only appropriate response is Gratefulness!” (David Steindl-Rast)
