A Postcard From Glass House Mountains NP, Queensland, Australia

After “raiding” New South Wales, we are traveling Queensland now for the next two weeks. This is just a quick up-date from a very special place up in southern QLD, called the Glass House Mountains. Some eroded vulcan plugs (some 15-20 Mio. years old) are still withstanding the elements and rising up from the flat plains and they are sacred to the Aboriginal people who are living here. Some of them are that sacred, that they are not to be allowed to walk or climb up to. Enjoy!
