Comet C/2011 L4 (Pan-STARRS)

Yes, finally, I got Comet C/2011 L4 (Pan-STARRS) yesterday night. First time photographing a comet, after (only) viewing comet Hale Bopp back in 1997. The weather was cooperating for about 30 minutes and I was very happy I had found the faint object around 7:20 pm, making its way through the constellation of Pisces. The comet can be spotted with the unaided eye, if you know where to look to, but its true nature only appears on the camera screen after a proper exposure. But beware, you might get some kind of addicted to it. Enjoy!

With PanStarrs obscured by clouds, I did some fun shooting… could be the next advertising campaign for MERCEDES BENZ…
