New Gallery On Photoshelter: LANDSHUT

I´m very excited to announce a new gallery on my Photoshelter account: LANDSHUT

After living a couple of weeks now in my new home, I got plenty of time to scout around and to find some well-known spots and maybe some new views and angles to photograph this fantastic, gothic city.

If you are a follower of this blog, you know that I´m some sort of addicted to the night sky. The conjunction of the crescent Moon, Jupiter and Venus was going to be the “main event” yesterday night. And before I was on the run, I checked TPE, the Photographer´s Ephemeris (http://photoephemeris.com/) to see if the constellation or the moon would hit any nice landmark. That´s a fantastic piece of tool to work with – check it out! So, here are some images of last night, some more from that and others can be found here on my new gallery: http://wernerpriller.photoshelter.com/gallery/LANDSHUT/G0000seICDCIXlP8/0/1 ! Enjoy!

Crescent Moon with earth shine and Jupiter to the left…

The crescent Moon meeting St. Martin Cathedral´s spire…

After the nautical twilight is gone, the stars become visible; notice the two little dots just under Jupiter-these are two of four moons of Jupiter…

From top left to the spire: the Pleiades, Venus, Jupiter, Crescent Moon…
