Startrails, A Falling Star And Light Pollution At The Hop Field

Last Saturday’s photo  is a composit of 238 single taken images – making the rotation of the earth visible. Also noticeable right in the center of the image, exactly 90 degrees opposite to the trails, there is a (small)falling star, a meteor. You know that song “Catching a falling star…”?  At the lower edge you can see that there is a lot of light pollution from a nearby small village. Some minor high-clouds sum up the whole. The bulkier part of  the startrails from the lower left corner to the upper right corner shows the Milky Way-due to the many (in fact billions) stars. Click on the image if you like for a larger version.
